Join Heidi Gartner, invertebrates collection manager, Dr. Joel Gibson, curator of entomology and a CRD Regional Parks Interpreter to learn about the fascinating world of invertebrate reproduction. We'll search the rare dune environment and intertidal zone for flying and marine invertebrates. You can leave your (nature-nerd) hat on!

Both geology and geography describe the overall physical shape of the world. Learn about the science behind geology, as well as global geography and features like lakes, volcanoes and mountains.

On Family Day 2019, join us for a Learning Centre Design Playdate from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The Royal BC Museum is in the process of developing an inclusive learning centre, a hub for learning and sharing for museum visitors of all ages.
Drop in to playfully test out ideas for programming and contribute your thoughts and ideas on how to create a centre that feels relevant and exciting for your family.
