Every gift can help build and care for the collection, support special exhibitions and deliver innovative learning, research and conservation programs.

Gifts in Wills
A charitable bequest through your estate is a way of providing a gift in the future, while reducing your taxable estate. You can leave the Royal BC Museum a specific dollar amount, a specific asset, or portion of the residue of your estate.
Gifts of Life Insurance
If you have an older life insurance policy you no longer need or if you want to make a large gift but you would prefer not to make a cash gift, consider making the Royal BC Museum the owner and/or beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Please consult your financial advisor.
Gifts in Memory
Your donation in memory of someone is a thoughtful way to remember them. You will receive a charitable tax receipt. If you provide the name(s) and address of the person you want advised of your gift, the Museum will notify them of your donation. Your donation amount will not be disclosed.
Gifts in Honour
You can also make a gift in honour of someone - perhaps to celebrate a recent achievement or special day (anniversary, birthday, etc.). The Museum will send a card notifying the tributee of your thoughfulness. The donation amount will not be disclosed and you will receive a tax receipt according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
