Join learning program developer Liz Crocker and BC Parks community liaison officer Natasha Ewing for a virtual visit to rainforests in two BC provincial parks: Goldstream Pronvincial Park on Vancouver Island and the Ancient Forest/Chun T’oh Whudujut Provincial Park east of Prince George. How is an inland rainforest different from a coastal rainforest? What species do these ecosystems have in common? We’ll answer these questions and more.
Established in 2016, the Ancient Forest / Chun T’oh Whudujut is one of BC’s newest parks. Join us to learn about the area’s dramatic history, the creation of the park, and how it is co-managed by the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation and the Province of B.C. You’ll stay warm and dry inside while Liz and Natasha brave the February elements!
