Humpback Whales is an extraordinary journey into the world of these mysterious and inspiring marine mammals. Set in the spectacular waters of Alaska, Hawaii and the remote islands of Tonga, this ocean adventure offers you an up-close look at how these whales communicate, sing, feed, play and take care of their young. Humpback whales are intelligent 55-foot, 50-ton mammals which migrate up to 16,000 km round-trip every year, including along the coast of British Columbia.
This is an opportunity to spend Family Day curled up on the couch enjoying the IMAX® Experience from home! Unlike the in-theatre experience, chat is welcome! Facilitators from the Royal BC Museum will be online, so you can ask questions and discuss the film.
Note- we have now reached capacity for this event. Also as a reminder, because of screening restrictions we will not be streaming through Facebook Live.
