Orcas: Digital Field Trip Taster Series - Episode 1

Join us on Tuesday afternoons throughout February as we take you on a guided tour of the Royal BC Museum’s feature exhibition, Orcas: Our Shared Future, from the comfort and safety of your own home via Facebook Live.

Orca enthusiast, writer, podcaster and filmmaker Mark Leiren-Young will explore a different area of the exhibition in each of the four 20-minute sessions, diving into the lives of these majestic creatures. In this first episode, we'll be taking a look at what orcas are, and where they live. You'll meet some of the members of J-Pod, who belong to the endangered southern resident killer whale population.
