Museum Happy Hour: Extreme

Drink, eat, meet and explore. Enjoy one-night-only themed events and activities for adults in one of our core galleries. Drinks and light fare available for additional purchase. Please note that these events are limited to designated galleries and are not museum-wide.

On November 22nd journey to some of BC's most extreme environments and marvel at what can survive in these hostile conditions. This event will take place in the Natural History gallery.

Animal Adaptation Student Pop-up Exhibit

As a way of sharing learning, students from St. Michael's University School (Middle School) will be presenting their student research in the Natural History Gallery.

This pop-up exhibit will showcase inquiry projects focusing on animal adaptation. The students will be present to share their learning and engage in conversations with visitors.

Wonder Sunday: Egypt

It's Complicated: Unceded

‘Unceded’ is a term commonly used to describe stolen Indigenous land, an important word and concept in any colonized cultural landscape. Colonial treatries may or may not have been agreed to willingly, but they shape our lives, our lands and our relationships. 

This participatory discussion will begin to explore the use of this word in the context of this particular place and space.

This tour will focus on our entomology collection and how these collections help us to learn about our province. Tours are limited to 10 people. Sign up begins at the information desk in the main lobby one hour prior to the tour start time.
