Tired of the same old thing? Why not come to the Royal BC Museum after work and try something new!

Bring your friends the last three Thursdays in November for a casual evening at the museum. Enjoy drink and food specials while you lounge or explore the galleries and take part in an activity.

Swing into the 1940s, learn how to glam up World War II style and try the jive. Feeling more conservative? Knit socks for soldiers or fill out your registration form.

Lest We Forget: A Musical Tribute to the Great War
The Naden Band Free Concert

Join the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy for Lest We Forget; a musical tribute to all Canadians who served, and fell, in war. The concert will be held on the main level of the Royal BC Museum at 7:00 p.m. and is free of charge.

Fieldtrippers: Birding the Bay

Join Royal BC Museum biologists Darren Copley and Claudia Copley on a birding trip to Cowichan Bay as part of the WildWings Nature & Arts Festival, an annual month-long celebration of the return of the Trumpeter Swans to their overwintering grounds in the Cowichan Valley. We’ll have spotting scopes for up-close viewing. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Meet at the small parking area near the intersection of Cowichan Bay Road and Lochmanetz Road opposite the South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club. Suitable for ages 10 and up.
