RBCM@Home (Kids) The Late, Great Endlings

Join author Deborah Kerbel and illustrator Aimee van Drimmelen as they talk about their new picture book, The Late, Great Endlings (Orca Book Publishers).

Endlings are the last known individual of a species, and for each species that has gone extinct, there has been an endling. The Late, Great Endlings pays homage to some of the more well-known endlings of the past century with rhyming stanzas that accompany watercolor illustrations and factual descriptions of each animal. But it's not all sad though- the book concludes on a hopeful note, with suggestions for what kids can do to help in the effort to save animals from extinction.
