Museum After Hours: Climate Change Curious

After Hours
Join us for a new all-ages series designed to welcome you to the museum after everyone else has gone home.

Climate Change Curious
This After Hours event will take a closer look at our climate change gallery.

Explore how the collections and research of the museum are relevant to climate change with curator of vertebrates Gavin Hanke, collection manager of botany Heidi Guest and collection manager of paleontology Derek Larson.

Community guests Andrew Weaver, the Climate Disaster Project and the Institute for Global Solutions at Claremont Secondary School will share new research and ideas for engaging with the topic of climate change.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to consider how all of this could be reflected in our climate change gallery.

Please be advised that the Royal BC Museum will be taking photographs at this event for use in materials in support of the Royal BC Museum’s mandate. Outside commercial photography is prohibited.
