BC in Pictures: The tourist gaze as seen through the BC Archives

Curator of art and images, Dr. India Rael Young will explore the question "What does the collection in the BC Archives of photographs by tourists,  tell us about how we view our province?" . By looking at tourist photographs from different eras Dr. Young will share some of the related cultural, social, and political implications of those photographs when they were made.
