Live at Lunch: Advocacy and Activism

To celebrate Asian Heritage Month, this Live at Lunch event will share the work being done by Dr. Tzu-I Chung, Curator of History, and Yuxwelupton Qwalqaxala, Director of Culture Transformation and UNDRIP Implementation. They will talk about how they are preserving diverse community cultural heritage, considering the practices around the world and how they think about protecting cultural heritage through facilitating community expressions. They will look at examples from existing work that shows diverse communities’ advocacy for their cultural heritage, and will share cross-cultural community discussions to support each other and create a better future for everyone.
