Designed for ages 9-12 years
This exciting program invites young artists to embark on an artistic adventure within the creative environment of the museum. Starting in the Natural History gallery, participants will meet the Woolly Mammoth and begin their journey by sketching the mammoth and the background. After exploring, they will head to the classroom to bring their drawing to life by creating their own 3D Woolly Mammoth model to take home.
Led by an experienced instructor, this workshop fosters individual expression and learning in a creative environment. All supplies included.
Meet the instructor:
Passionate about children's creative growth, Tasnova Zerin Haque has taught art in Bangladesh's IB World School and led a painting program for kids in the British Council and ICCA Test Center in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. She is currently pursuing an MA in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Victoria and holds an MFA from the Nanjing University of the Arts in China. Her art has been featured in MVIBE (USA), BOOMER (UK), and THE GREAT WALL magazine (CHINA). Tasnova loves nurturing young artistic minds and inspiring kids to become lifelong learners of art.
