Island View and You

We’re excited to join our friends at CRD Parks for this celebration life on the beach at this drop-in event with CRD Regional Parks naturalists and special guest organizations. Visit the Royal BC Museum tent to chat with Adrian about the Learning Team Handling Collection! We’ll have specimens to examine, including local butterflies and crabs. Meeting place: Meet at the grassy area adjacent to the picnic shelter off Homathko Drive.

Trail Description: Approximately 50m to event location from parking lot along a gravel path. Tents will be set up along the gravel path and on the beach, past driftwood. The beach is not wheelchair accessible. Accessible washroom available near parking lot. Two accessible parking stalls.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
