Fieldtripper: Spring Wildflower Walk

Spring has sprung and wildflowers are here! Join us for our first Fieldtripper since early 2020, a leisurely stroll or roll with Dr. Ken Marr, Curator of Botany and a CRD Regional Parks naturalist to see what’s out along the accessible Elsie King Trail at Francis/King Regional Park in Saanich. We'll talk all things plants and discover what makes this park so special in springtime.

Meeting place: The Francis/King Nature Centre off Munn Road.

Trail Description: 800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
