About Rosemary Laing, Provincial Carillonneur

Rosemary Laing was introduced to the carillon by Carillonneur Emeritus Herman Bergink, and later studied with Dr Andrea McCrady, Dominion Carillonneur at the Peace Tower in Ottawa. Laing was appointed Carillonneur of the Netherlands Centennial Carillon in 1993  after Bergink's retirement.

About the Netherlands Centennial Carillon

The Netherlands Centennial Carillon, housed at the top of the tower on the corner of Belleville and Government streets in front of the Royal BC Museum, was a gift from British Columbia's Dutch community to honour Canada's 100th birthday in 1967.
