Black History Month Fashion Show

An evening of history, culture and fashion

In partnership with the University of Victoria and the Royal BC Museum, the BC Black History Awareness Society presents an evening of history, culture and fashion. Students, families and others will model African prints from local designers while Black history radio capsules created by students in the French and Francophone Studies section of the School of Languages, Linguistics and Culture at the University of Victoria will play. This event will increase understanding of Black history, the diversity of African culture and clothing, and celebrate the achievements of Black people in the province.
