RBCM@Outside: Special Bird Service Edition

Join Special Bird Service for this special takeover of RBCM@ Outside!

This episode of RBCM@ Outside we’re turning the mic and camera over to our friends at Special Bird Service. Join us for a virtual nature ramble. Special Bird Service members will lead us through a greater Victoria natural area. We’ll definitely have our eyes on the birds, but what else will we discover?

Special Bird Service is a syndicate of holistic, nature-centred, community-building initiatives for the Brown, Black, Asian, Latine, Pacific Islander, Indigenous, Inuit and Metis people, as well as any other ethnic or visible minorities. Focused around birdwatching walks and nature, Special Bird Service challenges stereotypes and breaks glass ceilings, by elevating BIPOC voices, history, and values in nature, where they are often overshadowed.
