Learn more about government’s intention to modernize the museum to protect our historic holdings and provide better access to our collections.
Students from dozens of classrooms throughout the Greater Victoria School District are engaging in place-based learning about the natural and cultural history of the Salish Sea. Through in-class inquiry projects and a seafaring adventure with Eagle Wing Tours, they have been making deep connections and surprising discoveries about our big blue backyard.
This pop-up, offered once in January and twice in April, will showcase their learning. Students' informative and interactive displays will be exhibited in the main floor lobby and throughout the Natural and Human History galleries.
