Remembrance Day Commemorations

Victoria Children's Choir performance in Clifford Carl Hall from 12:30 to 1:00 pm

The Victoria Children’s Choir will perform music on themes of war and peace, including songs from the time of both World Wars, patriotic Canadian songs, and more recent compositions expressing the common desire for peace and human solidarity. One of the premiere children’s choirs in North America, the Victoria Children’s Choir enables youth throughout Greater Victoria to master their vocal talents and enrich their music knowledge. Founded by Artistic Director Madeleine Humer, the choir comprises over 115 talented singers aged 7-17.

This year military and home front historian Paul Ferguson is not with us in person, but he will be at the Memorial Museum Passchendaele in Belgium. We will present his previously recorded lecture, Belgium Remembered in British Columbia, on the big screen in Newcombe Conference Hall from 1:15 to 2:15.
