Science Odyssey Event

Ever wonder how scientists study biodiversity? Do you want to learn about diversity in Canada's Arctic Ocean? Join Ocean Networks Canada in the Natural History Gallery and participate in hands-on activities. This family event is open to all museum visitors.

Through the activities, museum visitors will learn about abundance and richness, transects and quadrats, and the role of stories in science. The event will also include a short video featuring knowledge holders from the hamlet of Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, sharing the story of Sedna, the Inuit goddess of the sea.

This event is part of Science Odyssey week.
