We've partnered with our friends from Open Space to bring you this evening exploration of the dynamic relationship between historical Indigenous art objects and contemporary Indigenous art practices.
As part of the Awakening Memory exhibit, contemporary artists Sonny Assu, lessLIE and Marianne Nicolson will be responding to cultural belongings within the Royal BC Museum collection.
Please note that Museum Happy Hour events are limited to designated galleries and are not museum-wide. This event takes place in the First Peoples gallery on the third floor, and drinks will not be allowed in the gallery.

This is a 19+ only event. Valid photo ID is required for entry. To ensure the safety of our guests and museum collections alike, Security will conduct ID, bag and spot checks at the entrance. Prohibited items include any controlled substance, alcohol (not purchased at the event) and dangerous items. Any items not permitted at the event will be collected at the door prior to entry. The Royal BC Museum will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
