Please note that the reference room will be closed every day between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm for additional cleaning.
There will be no onsite retrievals of records during your appointment, including microfilm, during this time. All records requests must be submitted one week prior to your scheduled appointment. Consult an archivist prior to booking an appointment if you require assistance locating records.
The BC Archives is located in downtown Victoria, at 655 Belleville Street, at the corner of Belleville and Government Streets, next to the Royal BC Museum and close to the Legislative Buildings and the Empress Hotel.
