Liz Crocker joined the Learning Department of the Royal BC Museum in 2016 after more than twenty-five years of working in the education, environmental and heritage fields in British Columbia. Liz’s experience ranges from front-line interpretation, designing school and public programs, managing volunteers, to interpretive planning and interpretive writing for museums, parks and historic sites. Liz has worked on several digital learning projects for the Virtual Museum of Canada and more recently, the Royal BC Museum’s Learning Portal.

Liz has a BA in Archaeology and English from Simon Fraser University and a post-degree diploma in Cultural Resource Management from the University of Victoria, where she studied museums, public programming, exhibit design, oral history, intangible heritage and heritage conservation.
