Adult Storytelling Workshop: The Story of Love

A storytelling workshop presented by Jennifer Ferris.

Our lives are full of the seeds of great stories; let your stories bloom by joining the quest to find meaning, wisdom, love and connection.

This workshop explores stories about love. It offers the opportunity to find your personal storytelling voice, to explore the elements of a good story including presence, characterization, story structure, how to connect with the audience and make the story bigger than the words. There will be an opportunity to work with your stories and explore what makes a good story great. In the first part of the workshop we will look at our own experiences and in the second half we will create stories using archival love letters that are part of the museum collection. All this will take place in a supportive atmosphere with plenty of fun to help you release your own creativity.
