RBCM @ Home goes to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre
Take a virtual trip to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre located in Whistler, BC. The Squamish and Lil’wat Nations have coexisted respectfully as neighbors since time immemorial. They have thrived on the bounty of the ocean, the rivers, and the land — living in close relationship with the world around them. Their cultures are grounded in rich, ancient traditions, and continue to grow and evolve in a modern world.
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre was built to share their cultural knowledge to inspire understanding and respect amongst all people, and their hope is that by visiting their Cultural Centre, that you will embrace this vision and live by it. Join curator Alison Pascal for this virtual visit.
