Chelsea Peddle is an end-of-life planner and death doula in Victoria, BC, where she helps people prepare for end-of-life so they can live in peace. Through workshops, coaching and companionship, Chelsea offers emotional, physical, spiritual and pragmatic support for individuals and their families before, during and after death. Chelsea has an End-of-Life Doula certificate from Douglas College and is a member of the End-of-Life Doula Association of Canada.  

Nicole Kilburn is an archaeologist and instructor at Camosun College. She has developed productive and meaningful relationships with local First Nations communities and is committed to making archaeology relevant to descendant communities, as well as the public in general. Nicole's 'Anthropology of Death' class will be showcasing Victorian-era mourning rituals in Preparing for a Victorian Funeral: A Camosun College Project, a pop-up event in Old Town and Helmcken House.

Genevieve Weber is an Archivist with the BC Archives. In her role as the Indigenous liaison for the Archives, she has the privilege of meeting with people from all over the province. She recently took part in a study through UBC on Archivists and grief work.
