To mark the centenary years of the First World War, the Royal BC Museum will commemorate those who lost their lives in 1918 in a dramatic expression of remembrance.
The names of each of the 1,003,167 soldiers, nurses and other military personnel from Canada and fifteen other participating nations who were killed in 1918 will be projected in Clifford Carl Hall every day from Nov 1-11, 2018.
The display at the Royal BC Museum is one of more than sixty participating locations across Canada and twenty locations internationally.
This national and international project was created by Canadian actor and Governor General’s Performing Arts Award winner R.H. Thomson and his production partner, lighting designer Martin Conboy.
