Feature Exhibition Resources

The following resources were developed by the Field Museum of Chicago to accompany their travelling exhibition Sue The T-Rex. BC Teachers will need to make some adjustments as these were developed for the Chicago public schools Skyline Curriculum.

Inquiry Guides

The following resources are for students, teachers, and chaperones to use during a self-guided visit to the permanent galleries. Age-appropriate activities and guides help students take a closer look at the Royal BC Museum while connecting to big ideas and themes learned in the classroom.

Teacher Generated Guides

We are hoping to build a library of learning plans that teachers have created while engaging with the Royal BC Museum. If you have any that you would like to pass along, please do.

Past Teacher Guides

Below you will find teacher resource guides to past docent-led programs. Though we are not offering them anymore, the guides can be a resource for your self-directed visit. Inside the guide you will find background information, program itinerary and pre- and post-visit activities.
