The documentary film, Every Living Thing: Experiencing a Bioblitz, will take you on an amazing journey of what it's like to spend four weeks over two summers exploring all aspects of nature – fish, insects, plants, fungi, reptiles, amphibians and mammals - that live in the Grand Lake Protected Natural Area in New Brunswick, Canada. In this the UN Decade of Biodiversity (2011-2020), the film was produced in collaboration with the New Brunswick Museum's BiotaNB program.

Spring is a great time to gather on a hilltop: you can take in the view, breathe some fresh air and see the wildflowers in bloom. Many insects also gather on hilltops, but not for the flora or the scenery. They gather on hills to find mates. Join Entomology Curator Joel Gibson, as he leads a walk around the summit of Pkols (Mount Douglas). We will observe some of the fascinating flying creatures that gather there.
