On July 30 we will be expanding our onsite, by appointment services to include researchers with demonstrable urgent deadlines; for example grant deadlines, graduate program requirements or those with an existing research agreement that is coming to an end.
This is the second phase in a three phase plan for the reference room. We will expand further, reopening by appointment to the broader public on September 14.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or leave a message at 250 387 1952, with information about your research project, your deadline, the expected number of days you will need to be onsite to access records and the list of materials you will need access to. Once we have this information, a staff member will contact you. If you do not know exactly what records you will need, an archivist will help you narrow down your search.
Some records are available on the archives’ website, navigate through the site from the archives’ homepage and find records through our online Archives Search. If the records that you seek are not online, if you would like assistance or advice in locating records, or if you have an urgent request for legal or treaty negotiation purposes, please contact staff at email@example.com.
