The “Samson”
« Le Samson »

The old locomotive Samson of 1839, which ran in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, was the second locomotive to operate in Canada. Driver G. Davidson and Fireman J. Fraser are pictured on the Samson between the passenger car and the coal tender.

L’ancienne locomotive Samson qu’en 1839 a fonctionné dans le comté de Pictou, en Nouvelle-Écosse.  Elle était la deuxième locomotive en canada.  Le conducteur G. Davidson et le pompier J. Fraser sont trouvées entre la voiture ferroviaire et le transporteur de charbon.
