Special Notice regarding our programs

The Royal BC Museum is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for all our visitors. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, the museum is committed to understanding the facts and ensuring we respond appropriately. 

In light of recent announcements about COVID-19 by the BC Centre for Disease Control, including its direction to limit all public gatherings larger than 50 people, we have taken the step of postponing all our public special events until after June 30, 2020.

We will also be closing the Archives Reference Room to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17. Please access the online archives resources.
