Accessible entry to the BC Archives during construction works

BC Archives Release

The concrete on areas of the Royal BC Museum and BC Archives grounds is currently being maintained to improve accessibility and safety.

At present, this work is taking place in the front of the main museum entrance off Belleville Street. It will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

If you require accessible entry to the BC Archives during this time, please enter the main Museum glass lobby via the access ramp off Government Street, or from the ramp at Belleville Street and Douglas Street (across from the Old Spaghetti Factory), and visit the central Security desk to the left of the Box Office. Security staff will escort you to the BC Archives via an accessible route.

We thank you for your understanding while this important work is underway and we will update this message when the work is complete.

The stairs to the lower entrance of the BC Archives are accessible during this work.
