Edith Louisa (Dolly) Helmcken 1862 - 1939In April 1889 Dolly married Williams Ralph Higgins. He died in tragic circumstances. After his death Dolly Higgins moved in with her father, living in the newest part of the house, with her father living in the old log cabin section. Dolly cared for her father until his death in 1920. She left his things as they had been during his life, and protected his papers and memoirs. |
