Throughout the winter and during the spring migrations, many species of birds were hunted in and around Thunderbird Park.
Pintail ducks
Pintail ducks were among the species caught in the region of Victoria harbour.

Bird nets were set across flyways. When birds hit the net, the net dropped and the birds were clubbed.
