It's Complicated: Photography for Social Change

This participatory discussion series tackles perspectives and definitions, upending assumptions to help us better understand ourselves and our community. An intriguing mix of facilitators will get the conversation started, but where it goes from there is up to you.

Inspired by the Photo Story Award category at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, we will talk about how photography can be used to promote social action, engage public interest and motivate change.

Photographers Sherry Kirkvold, Matt Whelan, and Wildlife Photographer of the Year finalist (2012/13) Garth Lenz will lead the discussion.
