Music at the Museum - Victoria Summer Music Festival

Enjoy live music bry a string quartet on the front patio of the Royal BC Museum as part of the Victoria Summer Music Festival.

The Wisteria String Quartet was formed in the fall of 2016, and is comprised of violinists Amy Toth and Jasmine Mather, violist Jaling Kersen, and cellist Claire Dresselhuis. Since its founding, the young ladies and aspiring musicians of the WSQ have continued to develop a strong musical relationship and dedication to chamber music.

The Wisteria String Quartet has been under the tutelage of the celebrated and award-winning Lafayette String Quartet. Composed exclusively of UVic Music Students, Amy, Jasmine, Jaling, and Claire have performed all across Victoria, including performances at Christ Church Cathedral, Philip T. Young Recital Hall, Metro studio theater, The Empress, Victoria Garden Tour, and more.

The WSQ is committed to engaging in musical conversation. Through their exploration of different genres from classical to modern classics they strive to share their immense love of chamber music with audiences of all generations and walks of life
