Romance will be in the air, but you don’t need to be attached to explore the allure of instinct, passion and love at Royal BC Museum’s Night Shift: Wild Romance.
All are welcome to enjoy the lead-up to Valentine’s Day with an evening of live music, presentations and adult-only crafts and activities sure to get your heart racing.
Following the sold-out success of 2015’s Night Shift: Nightmare at the Museum, this Valentine’s Day event is expanding from last year to include the third floor galleries and even more entertainment and activities.
Featuring a cash bar and nibbles for sale from Truffles Catering, sparks are sure to fly at Night Shift: Wild Romance.

Please note that most of our event venues are intimate spaces with limited capacity. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan your evening accordingly.

This is a 19+ only event. Valid photo ID is required for entry. To ensure the safety of our guests and museum collections alike, Security will conduct ID, bag and spot checks at the entrance. Prohibited items include any controlled substance, alcohol (not purchased at the event), dangerous items, replica weapons, live animals, full-face masks or face paint that completely obscures your features (a partial mask or light face paint is acceptable, but your identity must be readily recognizable, based on your photo ID). Any items not permitted at the event will be collected at the door prior to entry. The Royal BC Museum will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
If Security assesses that a guest is intoxicated or under the influence of a controlled substance, they will deny the guest entry to the event. This decision will be made to ensure the safety and security of other guests and the Royal BC Museum.
