Friends of the BC Archives

The Friends of the British Columbia Archives is an incorporated, non-profit organization managed by a Board of Directors elected from the membership.

Funds donated to the Friends of the BC Archives help preserve and protect our province’s past. All donations (beyond basic membership rates) are tax deductible. We are a registered charity and will issue tax receipts for donations.

Anyone can become a Friend of the BC Archives. Membership is personally rewarding, interesting, and helps preserve the documentary history of the province. You will receive a quarterly newsletter full of interesting articles about the Archives and its holdings, hints for researchers, and upcoming activities, lectures and workshops.

Print a membership form, and fill it out, and return it to us with your membership fee (cheque only, please do not send cash) by mail; we cannot process applications online. The Friends may be reached by email or by writing to:
