BC Musician, Official Bulletin of Local 145 A.F.M. of U.S. was the first professional journal for musicians in the province, covering professional musician issues from the 1920s. It thoroughly documents the displacement of professionals by the introduction of new technologies for sound, in the form of broadcast dances and “talking” pictures in theatres.

This broadsheet newspaper contained advertisements and articles about films, dances and special events that are a rich cultural documentation of the decade.
